The Oppo Find X9 series launch date for China has been officially confirmed. Oppo’s latest Find X9 and Find X9 Pro flagship phones will run ColorOS 16, which will be announced on October 15 at the 2025 Oppo Developers Conference.
Oppo Find X9 series will launch in China on October 16. The company also confirmed that the phones will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC and feature Oppo’s proprietary Trinity Engine tech.
According to Oppo, the Find X9 series will offer large batteries. The base Find X9 will get a 7,025 mAh cell, whereas the Pro variant will pack a 7,500 mAh battery. The phones will also have a dedicated physical button for invoking AI features.
Meanwhile, pre-reservation for the Find X9 Pro is already live on the official Oppo China online store.
ColorOS 16, based on Android 16, will be announced a day ahead of the Find X9 series launch. The latest OS will feature a redesigned interface, new AI features, and is claimed to be much smoother than before. Apart from the Find X9 lineup, the new OS will be available on the OnePlus 15, OnePlus Ace 6, and the Oppo Pad 5.
The Oppo Find X9 series will also launch globally, confirmed Oppo Chief Product Officer, Pete Lau.
More details about the phones should surface as the launch date nears.
