OPPO Find X9 Series Global Debut Confirmed Alongside the Chip

Earlier today, MediaTek introduced its latest flagship chip called the Dimensity 9500. Soon after, Vivo announced that its X300 series phones would be the first to utilize the new MediaTek SoC. OPPO has now also revealed that it’ll power the upcoming Find X9 series of phones with the Dimensity 9500 chipset. Furthermore, OPPO has revealed the launch date and some key specs of the Find X9 series, apart from teasing their global debut.

Before the global launch, OPPO will unveil the Find X9 series in China on October 16th

In a series of posts on Weibo, OPPO has announced that it’ll launch the Find X9 series flagships at an event in China on October 16th. These will be among the first devices that’ll utilize the Dimensity 9500 chip that MediaTek introduced today. After launching the Find X9 series in China in the middle of October, they will make a global debut at some point later this year, confirmed the brand via a press note.

OPPO has also revealed that it’ll ship the Find X9 series with its in-house Trinity Engine. The firm touted that the Trinity Engine is “Android’s first unified computing power model.” OPPO claims that it further helps keep phones operating efficiently at peak performance. As per the brand, this “industry-leading solution delivers system-level full-scene computational modeling for the Dimensity 9500’s CPU, GPU, and DSU.”

The Find X9 series will continue with Hasselblad-branded cameras

Apart from the chip, OPPO has confirmed that the Find X9 series phones will continue with Hasselblad-branded cameras. As per the earlier reports, the Find X9 Pro could flaunt a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto shooter. Additionally, the company will offer the phone with a Hasselblad professional photography kit.

OPPO’s earlier teasers have indicated that the Find X9 range will flaunt ultra-thin bezels and monster batteries. The Find X9 will pack a 7025mAh battery, and the Find X9 Pro will use a 7500mAh power cell, the brand has confirmed. Both phones could feature next-gen fast charging capabilities. Last but not least, OPPO has revealed that the Find X9 series will boot ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box.
