The OnePlus 15 has appeared on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 & more

The phone appeared under the OnePlus PLK110 model number, but it’s obvious what phone this is. One thing you should not be paying attention at, at all, are its benchmarking results. This is a test unit, obviously, and it’s not using its full power, not even close. The results shown have nothing to do with the actual power of the upcoming phone/chip.

OnePlus 15 Geekbench

Speaking of which, the OnePlus 15 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor. That chip is expected to arrive in October. The OnePlus 15 will be one of the first smartphones to utilize it.

This listing does reveal that the device will ship with 16GB of RAM. Well, at least one of its variants will include 16GB of RAM. We’re guessing that OnePlus will use LPDDR5X RAM, but we’ll see.

Android 16 will come pre-installed on the phone

Another tidbit that this listing revealed is that Android 16 will come pre-installed, as expected. OxygenOS 16 will come pre-installed on top of Google’s operating system, of course.

Based on this listing, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will have two prime cores running at 4.61GHz, and 6 secondary cores running at 3.63GHz. That part is probably true, but the results are not, as already mentioned, they’re not even worth noting.

The OnePlus 15 will launch before the end of the year, most likely in October, but the global variant will be late. It will likely arrive in Q1 next year. You’ll also notice that OnePlus is skipping the OnePlus 14 name. The number 4 is considered to be unlucky in China, the company also skipped the OnePlus 4 name.
