Google Pixel 10 Pro camera features

Google’s Pro model Pixel phones always come with the most advanced camera features that Pixel phones have to offer, and the Google Pixel 10 Pro is no different. While Google did bring a third camera to the base model Pixel with the Pixel 10 this year, the Pixel 10 Pro will still offer some extras. Specifically, exclusive features that you will need the Pro model to access.

One of the more prominent camera features on the Pixel 10 Pro is the new 5x Telephoto lens with the Pro Res Zoom that goes up to 100x. This is well over the 20x Super Res Zoom on the base Pixel 10, though you may not use the zoom up to that amount that often. There’s also a new Camera Coach feature, although this isn’t exclusive to the Pro models, and you can get this on the Google Pixel 10 as well.

Here are all of the camera features available on the Google Pixel 10 Pro:

  • Pro controls
  • High-Res (up to 50MP)
  • Pro Res Zoom up to 100x
  • Camera Coach
  • Add Me
  • Macro Focus
  • Night Sight
  • Astrophotography
  • High-Res Portrait Mode (50MP)
  • Face Unblur
  • Auto Unblur
  • Long Exposure
  • Action Pan
  • Real Tone
  • Panorama
  • Auto Best Take
  • Frequent Faces
  • Top Shot

While those main features of the camera will be nice for snapping photos that you don’t alter beyond what the software does for you during the shot, there are a ton of editing features to enhance the photos further. The Google Pixel 10 Pro offers plenty of editing options to tweak your images and make them look their best. Here are all of the Google Pixel 10 Pro editing features:

  • Edit with Ask Photos
  • Pixel Studio
  • Auto frame
  • Reimagine
  • Sky styles
  • Resize and move subjects
  • Portrait blur
  • Magic Eraser
  • Best Take
  • Photo Unblur
  • Zoom Enhance
  • Portrait Light

The Google Pixel 10 Pro brings in loads of video features

The camera features don’t stop there, either. Because there are quite a few video-focused features as well. Stuff like Audio Magic Eraser makes a return. This feature was introduced with the Pixel 8 series back in 2023. So, it’s not new, but Google likely has improved it somewhat. Additionally, features like Video Boost have been improved to offer even more steady shots. It does this by capturing tons of light and color data as you record. Here are all of the video features on the Google Pixel 10 Pro:

  • Video Boost
  • Night Sight Video
  • Audio Magic Eraser
  • Macro Focus Video
  • 10-bit HDR video
  • Cinematic Blur
  • Cinematic Pan
  • Slo-mo video support up to 240 FPS
  • 4K timelapse with stabilization
  • Astrophotography timelapse
  • Night Sight timelapse
  • Optical image stabilization for video
  • Fused video stabilization
  • Cinematic Pan video stabilization (4K, 1080p)
  • Locked video stabilization (4K, 1080p)
  • Active video stabilization (1080p)
  • Video formats: HEVC (H.265), AVC (H.264), AV1, VP9

Video Boost isn’t the only video feature that you won’t get on the Pixel 10. Exclusively for the Pixel 10 Pro models, Google is offering Night Sight Video and 8K video recording. 8K video recording is limited to 24 frames per second or 30 frames per second. However, the video quality will be unmatched.
