iQOO 15’s color changing version officially revealed, will be the first to come with OriginOS 6

iQOO is expected to unveil the iQOO 15 in the coming weeks, and we recently saw a hands-on video showing the iQOO 15’s color-changing model. While iQOO hasn’t revealed the iQOO 15’s launch date yet, earlier today, it gave us our first official look at the iQOO 15’s color-changing version.

vivo iQOO 13

The iQOO 15’s design is similar to last year’s iQOO 13 – it has a metal build with the volume rocker and power key placed on the right-side frame, while the back cover sports a squircle-shaped camera island housing three cameras and an LED flash. It also has text that reads “100x Tele Lens,” which confirms the presence of a telephoto unit.

The iQOO 12 featured a periscope telephoto camera, but the iQOO 13 opted for a non-periscope unit. Rumors claim the iQOO 15 will mark the comeback of periscope telephoto, and we hope that’s true.

In addition to revealing the iQOO 15 color-changing model’s design, iQOO also announced that the iQOO 15 will be the first smartphone to run OriginOS 6 out of the box. The vivo X300 and X300 Pro, which should also boot OriginOS 6, are set to launch on October 13 in China, so expect the iQOO 15 to be unveiled before that. Pre-orders for the iQOO 15 are already open in China through vivo’s Chinese website and third-party online retailers.
