Xiaomi is preparing for the release of its next generation of value flagship lineup, the Xiaomi 15T series. The launch is confirmed to take place later this month. There are already a few leaks of it circulating online. But a recent photo leak of the Xiaomi 15T gives us a closer look at its hardware specifications.
Xiaomi 15T leaked specs suggest Dimensity 8400-Ultra chip, 5500mAh battery
A tipster on Twitter/X has shared a photo of the Xiaomi 15T wrapped in the protective sleeve that comes with the box. While the image doesn’t reveal the design of the gadget, it does throw light on some key specifications. As per the image, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset. This was expected since Xiaomi’s T series generally sits with MediaTek, whereas the Snapdragon chips are reserved for its number series.

The Xiaomi 15T will pack a huge 6.83-inch “eye-care” display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is mostly going to be a micro quad curved OLED display. The eye-care branding likely refers to the TÜV Rheinland certification for low light and blue light protection. The device will be powered by a 5,500mAh battery. It will have the support of 67W fast wired charging.
The Leica Summilux lens is making a comeback with the Xiaomi 15T
One of the interesting parts of the leak is that it confirms that Xiaomi 15T is bringing back the Leica Summilux optical lens. While the details about the exact camera hardware remain unknown, we are speculating that the device will pack a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup. It might have a 32-megapixel front selfie snapper. For reference, the Xiaomi 14T had a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 50-megapixel 50mm 2X telephoto, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro, on the other hand, is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. The rest of its specifications are still a mystery. The tech giant has already started hyping up the launch of the Xiaomi 15T lineup on its social media.
