Realme Teases a Phone with a Monster 15,000mAh Battery

Just a few days ago, Realme introduced a new mid-range phone called the Realme P4 Pro with a beefy 7,000mAh battery. It is now planning to showcase a new device with an even higher battery capacity. A few days ago, the brand already teased that the upcoming handset will boast a power cell larger than 10,000mAh. Realme has now confirmed that the phone will feature a massive 15,000mAh battery, in addition to revealing the handset’s design.

The Realme 15,000mAh battery phone will deliver 50 hours of video streaming

The Realme Global account has posted a new teaser for the upcoming phone with a 15,000mAh battery on X/Twitter. While the company’s post still mentions the phone to have an undisclosed “1x000mAh” battery, a zoomed look at the teaser image confirms the presence of a 15,000mAh power cell.

Furthermore, Realme claims the massive battery can deliver 50 hours of nonstop video streaming. While the figure is striking, it is not an unachievable number considering the sheer size of the cell. Additionally, the company touted that this device can offer an impressive up to 18.75 hours of video shooting on a single charge.

A powerful battery in a slim design

While most rugged phones with oversized batteries tend to have quite a bulky design. Realme’s smartphone with a 15,000mAh battery doesn’t appear to be too thick. The device seems to have a similar waistline to the Realme GT 10,000mAh concept phone, which the company introduced in May with an 8.5mm frame.

Just like the Realme GT 10,000mAh, the company’s upcoming device with a 15,000mAh battery could also be just another concept model. Similar to the earlier model, the brand could also utilize an ultra-high silicon-content anode battery on the upcoming handset. We will find out more on August 27 when the company will showcase the device during the Realme Fan Festival event.
