Samsung’s Now Bar can now predict the results of sports

With the Android 15-powered One UI 7, Samsung introduced a very useful software feature called the “Now Bar.” It shows users with important information, such as a running timer or live sports data on the screen. Users can essentially access the information regardless of what they are doing on the phone. Well, the South Korean tech giant has now upgraded it with the ability to predict the results of sports.

The Now Bar on Samsung’s One UI can show the win probability of sports

We can say that Now Bar is Samsung’s version of the dynamic island. But with the fact that it doesn’t sit around the selfie camera. It is a pill-shaped element that can be accessed on the lockscreen and Always-on-Display (AOD). It can display various things such as a live timer, music, and sports information.

Clicking on the pill expands it to a bigger UI element that has more detailed information than what’s already displayed on the smaller UI. It supports live notifications and is pretty much customizable as well. And in a latest update, Samsung has now added the ability to predict the winner of sports in the Now Bar.

It’s now easier for Samsung users to see the probable winner

There has been no official announcement regarding the addition of the new feature yet. However, several users of the Samsung devices have reported that the Now Bar is now able to display the win probability for live sports.

Samsung’s Now Bar fetches the data from Google and then displays the win probability for the ongoing sports. However, it displays the win probability only until the match starts. After that, it gets replaced by the live scores. As of right now, the feature is limited to certain games and regions. We can confirm that the users residing in the UK and the US can access the new feature. But there’s no word on whether other regions and sports will be added to the compatibility list.
