Infinix GT 30 Brings Gaming Features to the Budget Segment

Infinix has been releasing some excellent budget phones lately. It has now launched its new gaming smartphone in India that comes with customizable LED lights, shoulder trigger buttons, and a gaming-oriented design. And to our surprise, the device is priced fairly aggressively.

As a gaming smartphone, it features one of the fastest chipsets in the segment. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC. It’s a 4nm tech-based mobile chipset that claims to deliver ultra-gaming performance. It is asserted to score 3100+ points in Geekbench 6 and more than 99% stability in the Wild-Life extreme stress test.

As for the display, the device packs a massive 6.78-inch AMOLED panel. It is powered by LTPS technology. Therefore, it can intelligently switch from 60Hz to 144Hz. The peak brightness rating of the display is 4500 nits. It is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and comes with an under-display optical fingerprint scanner.

It comes with customizable LED lights, gaming shoulder buttons

Just giving a powerful hardware doesn’t make a device a gaming smartphone. However, the Infinix GT 30 brings several features aimed at gamers, such as customizable LED lights on the rear panel. Additionally, it has shoulder trigger buttons that can be customized as well. It has a 6-layer 3D vapour chamber to provide better heat dissipation during gaming.

A 5,500mAh battery powers the device. Moreover, it has the support of 45W wired charging that’s bundled in the box. Moreover, it comes with a dual rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel IMX682 primary lens and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. On the front, it has a 13-megapixel selfie shooter.

The device runs on Android 15-powered XOS 15. Also, the company promises up to 2 years of Android updates and up to 3 years of security updates.

The Infinix GT 30 comes in two different variants: 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The 128GB variant is priced at INR 19,499 ($222) and the 256G variant is priced at INR 20,999 ($240). Finally, buyers can choose between Cyber Blue, Pulse Green, and Blade White color variants.
