Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra Leak Reveals a Shockingly Thin Design

Samsung is planning to launch three new Android tablets this year: the Galaxy Tab S11, Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, and Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. Ahead of the launch, a handful of details regarding the upcoming tablets from the Korean tech giant have already leaked. Recently, some EU labels regarding the battery life and charging cycles of the Galaxy Tab S11 series surfaced online. Now, a tipster has posted almost the complete specs sheet of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra model on X/Twitter.

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will be slimmer than the predecessor

According to the specs sheet shared by a lesser-known tipster, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will be slimmer than the current S10 Ultra. The new device will have an ultra-thin 5.1mm waistline, which is 0.3mm thinner than the already impressively thin frame of its predecessor.

It’s worth pointing out that Apple’s iPad Pro 13 (2024) has the exact same 5.1mm waistline. We can also expect that the vanilla Galaxy Tab S11 model will have a thinner frame.

A Dimensity 9400+ SoC, up to 16GB RAM, and a massive battery

Furthermore, the source claims that the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will continue to offer a 14.6-inch screen size. It will have a Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the slate will be a 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor. It will boot One UI 8 based on Android 16 out of the box. User will be able to configure the device with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, claims the source.

As for the other specs, the tipster suggests that Samsung will fit the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra with a dual 13MP + 8MP rear camera system, just like the predecessor. However, the tablet will lose a selfie camera and will come only with a single 12MP shooter on the front. Some recently leaked images also suggested the presence of a single selfie camera on the slate.

Despite featuring an ultra-slim 5.1mm frame, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra could have a larger 11,600mAh battery, which will support 45W charging capability. The tipster also suggests that the slate will have four stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7, eSIM, IP68 certification, a built-in S Pen, Gemini, and a couple of colorways: Gray and Silver.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S10 series devices in late September last year and started selling them in major markets in October. There’s a possibility the brand will follow the same strategy and host a major Unpacked event by the end of September to introduce the Tab S11 series.
