The Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Edge could disappoint in the charging department. Based on the information from Ice Universe, neither phone will deliver a charging boost.
Both the Galaxy S26 Pro and Edge are tipped to be stuck at 25W wired charging
Ice Universe, one of the best-known tipsters out there, said that the two phones will support 25W wired charging. That is the same charging speed that the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Edge offer, and the same charging speed Samsung has been using for years.
You may wonder, what about wireless charging? Well, that’s not something the tipster mentioned, but we can guess. There are very high chances that both smartphones will support wireless charging, as both will come with magnets built in.
So, they should be able to support full-fledged Qi2 charging. We’re hoping that Samsung will offer Qi2.2 charging on both devices aka 25W wireless charging. There’s a chance that it won’t happen, and that both phones will be limited to 15W charging. It remains to be seen.

The Galaxy S26 Pro is replacing the Galaxy S25, directly, while the Galaxy S26 Edge will replace both the Galaxy S25 Edge and Galaxy S25+. Samsung is ditching the ‘+’ series entirely.
The two phones will look very similar from the front, though the Galaxy S26 Edge will be larger. The back side, however, will be different. The Galaxy S26 Pro will have three vertically aligned cameras in the top-left corner, which will sit on top of a pill-shaped camera island.
The Galaxy S26 Edge, on the other hand, will have a rather large camera island on the back, with two cameras included in there. Those cameras will also be vertically aligned. Both devices are expected to arrive alongside the Galaxy S26 Ultra in January next year.
