The Galaxy S25 FE Is Easier to Repair Than The Galaxy S24 FE

Samsung introduced the Galaxy S25 FE smartphone as part of the IFA 2025 tradeshow announcements earlier this month. Arriving as the successor to last year’s Galaxy S24 FE, the phone brings flagship looks, 7 years of software updates, and a few upgrades in various departments. Apart from upgrading the features, Samsung also appears to have improved the internal design of the Galaxy S25 FE, as suggested by a recent teardown video of the smartphone.

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 FE has received a higher repairability score in a recent teardown

The YouTube channel PBKreviews has provided us with a closer look at the internals of the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE phone in their recent teardown video. It shows that Samsung has improved the charging port and other smaller components of the Galaxy S25 FE, which are now easier to replace when required.

Samsung appears to have increased the size of the vapor chamber that runs underneath the battery as well as the motherboard to help transfer heat. That said, the YouTube channel has given the Galaxy S25 FE a repairability score of 9/10. Last year, the same channel rated the Galaxy S24 FE 8.5/10.

Highlights of Samsung’s latest Fan Edition smartphone

If you’ve missed the launch, here are some highlights of the Galaxy S25 FE handset. Samsung has backed the phone with its Exynos 2400 SoC, which is a 4nm chip from 2023. The device comes with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, which offers up to 120Hz refresh rate and the Vision Booster functionality. Samsung has equipped the phone with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

There’s a 50MP main camera at the rear, aided by a 12MP ultrawide shooter and an 8MP telephoto lens. The device boasts an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. A beefier 4,900mAh battery with improved 45W wired charging support keeps the phone running.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE comes in four colorways: Icyblue, Jetblack, Navy, and White. Samsung has priced the base 128GB memory model at $649.99, while the most expensive 256GB variant will set you back $709.99. Samsung hasn’t yet started selling the 512GB storage model in the US. Interested consumers can purchase the device from the Samsung Store or via retailers such as Amazon or Best Buy, apart from the major telecom operators.
