We have recently published exclusive Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge CAD-based renders. This time around, we’re bringing you Galaxy S26 Pro CAD-based renders, to show you the entry-level model in Samsung’s flagship lineup.
You’ll notice that Samsung is changing the name of the device. The Samsung Galaxy S25 is getting replaced by the Galaxy S26 Pro straight up. For some reason, Samsung decided to go with the ‘Pro’ name instead. As a side note, the ‘Plus’ model is also gone, as the Galaxy S26 Edge is taking over.
Here’s a closer look at the Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro thanks to CAD-based renders
With that being said, you can check out the aforementioned CAD renders below. There are three of them included in the gallery.
So, as you can see, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro will resemble the Galaxy S26 quite a bit. There will be one notable difference, which makes it easy to tell the two apart, the camera island on the back. While both models have vertically aligned cameras, and three of them, that section does look notably different.
The Galaxy S26 Pro’s rear camera setup will look a bit different than what the Galaxy S25 offered
The three cameras on the Galaxy S26 Pro are placed on top of a pill-shaped camera island. The ones on the Galaxy S25 protrude directly from the phone’s backplate. Furthermore, the camera lenses themselves look notably different in comparison.
Other than that, these two phones are very, very similar. They both have a centered display camera hole on the front, which is rather small. The bezels around the display are both thin and uniform.
The Galaxy S26 Pro includes all of its physical buttons on the right-hand side, just like its predecessor. A power/lock key sits below the volume up and down buttons. The frame is flat all around, for the most part. It does curve a bit towards the edges, for comfort’s sake.
The corners of the device are rounded, while the backplate is flat, just like the phone’s display. The Galaxy S26 Pro will be made out of aluminum and glass, just like the Galaxy S25.
A slightly larger display will be used
We can also confirm that the display on the Galaxy S26 Pro will measure around 6.3 inches. What about the phone’s size? Well, the Galaxy S26 Pro will measure roughly 149.3 x 71.4 x 6.96mm (10.23mm including the camera bump on the back).
It will be taller, wider, and thinner than the Galaxy S25. Why is that? Well, its display will be slightly bigger, which apparently affects the dimensions of the device. Once again, these are rough measurements based on CAD renders, things could differ a bit with the final product.
That is basically everything we can confirm at this point. Some additional details did surface thanks to rumors, though, so let’s go over those too. The Galaxy S26 will likely utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip aka Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. It will likely have the ‘for Galaxy’ addition to the name, and will be overclocked. There is a chance that Samsung’s Exynos chip will come into play too, in some markets, it remains to be seen.
It could end up offering 16GB of RAM and a 4,300mAh battery
The phone is rumored to include 16GB of RAM, mainly due to AI. As a reminder, the Galaxy S25 ships with 12GB of RAM. So, if true, this would be a nice spec boost for the base Galaxy S26 model.
What about its battery? Well, if rumors are to be believed, it will get a battery boost. Samsung is aiming to use a 4,300mAh battery here, compared to a 4,000mAh battery inside the Galaxy S25. Samsung is still not going to adopt silicon-carbon batteries, unfortunately.
The entire Samsung Galaxy S26 series will come with built-in magnets, we can actually confirm that. Samsung is going the Apple and Google route, and will support proper Qi2 charging with magnets. Unfortunately, this probably means that reverse wireless charging aka Wireless PowerShare won’t be available.
A camera boost is rumored
It was also mentioned that the Galaxy S26 Pro will get an ultrawide camera boost. It will feature a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, compared to a 12-megapixel unit of its predecessor. We’re still not sure about its main and telephoto cameras, however.
The entire Samsung Galaxy S26 series is expected to arrive in Q1 next year, probably in January. We’re still not done with exclusive Galaxy S26 series leaks, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is next. Stay tuned.
