The Google Pixel 10 Pro is official, with Google having announced the Pixel 10 series back on August 20, and the phone comes with several advancements like better charging speed, newer software, and a few new camera features. The phone is also now officially available, having launched fully on August 28. If you’re planning to pick up the Google Pixel 10 Pro, then you probably want to know what the charging speed is like. How fast can the Pixel 10 Pro charge up? The phone will support up to 29W wired charging and up to 15W wireless charging. So, it’s nothing earth-shattering and won’t surpass devices that come from OnePlus or any other brands that support 65W+ charging speeds.
However, the charging speed of the Pixel 10 Pro is as good or slightly better than the Pixel 9 Pro. It’s not worse, so there’s that. Unfortunately, this means it’s probably going to take at least an hour to charge up the phone.
What is the charging speed like on the Google Pixel 10 Pro?
With 29W wired charging, you can expect to get about 50% battery life in 30 minutes or so. It’s worth keeping in mind that as you get closer to 100%, at some point, the charging speed will start to trickle and slow down a bit. So you’re probably looking at over an hour to get to 100%.
The Pixel 10 Pro XL charges slightly faster thanks to its support for 45W charging, but it does have the bigger display. If you don’t care for the bigger display, you either have to compromise on the charging speed and go for the Pixel 10 Pro, or accept the larger display to get the faster charging. The Google Pixel 10 Pro is now available for purchase, and Amazon is still offering the $200 gift card promotion.

Recommended chargers for the Google Pixel 10 Pro
When it comes to chargers, just like with any other phone, the Pixel 10 Pro will work with just about anything. That being said, there are definitely some chargers that will be recommended. So, here’s what we’re recommending for the Pixel 10 Pro. It’s also worth noting that chargers that support charging speeds faster than 29W will work.

UGREEN 30W Nexode Charger
The UGREEN 30W Nexode charger is perfect for the Google Pixel 10 Pro for several reasons. It charges at 30W so it’s just at the threshold of the Pixel 10 Pro’s maximum charging speed. It’s also an extremely compact charger, so it’ll fit in tight spots whether that’s between other plugs on a surge protector, or behind those pesky nightstands. The prongs fold inward as well, making this an excellent option as a travel charger, or to bring with you on your commutes to and from work. Plus, it’s only $11.99. It does not come with a charging cable, so make sure you have one to use, or purchase one for this.

Mophie 15W Wireless Charging Pad with Kickstand
Yes, this is using an iPhone for the image, but it’s compatible with the Pixel 10 Pro since the Pixel 10 Pro will support wireless charging with magnets. As an added bonus this has a built-in kickstand. This is a really cool feature because it allows you to set the phone up on your desk to charge, and you can use the phone to watch videos while charging. As another example, it’s perfect as a charger for next to your bed if you want the phone to act as an alarm clock. The charger goes for $17.99 which is a pretty good price for a wireless charging pad. It is worth noting, that this is a sale price currently being offered. It normally retails for $34.99, so you may want to pick it up quickly.
