The next big release in Samsung‘s phone lineup is reportedly just around the corner. Now, a fresh leak has given us a few more details about what to expect for the Galaxy S25 FE. Here, we’ve exclusively brought you key information about the device, including tech specs, full design, and colors. The latest report mentions all the specifications we’ve previously revealed but adds that the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE will also be available in an additional color variant and storage option.
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE will also be available in Dark Blue, 512GB storage
The new information comes from reliable tipster Ahmed Qwaider on X/Twitter. To start with the new information, the Galaxy S25 FE would be available in up to five colors. According to the report, you could buy the device in a “Dark Blue” shade in addition to the four previously revealed (Black, Navy, Icy Blue, and White).
In addition, Samsung would also offer the Galaxy S25 FE in a variant with up to 512GB of storage. However, even this version would remain at 8GB of RAM. It seems that Samsung is using the RAM capacity as a differentiating factor between the FE model and the main S25 line.
Other key specs
Other specs mentioned in the report are familiar and consistent with our exclusive leaks. The phone will feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The display is said to hit a peak of 1,900 nits, which is similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 FE. However, sources suggest a key display improvement: LTPO technology. The latter would allow the screen refresh rate to drop to as low as 1Hz, which is great for reducing battery consumption.
And to keep that screen safe, both the front and back of the phone will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 FE will pack Samsung’s Exynos 2400 chipset, which is nice. But what’s even better is the claim that the phone will feature a cooling system that’s 13% more efficient than its predecessor. This means the phone should be able to handle demanding tasks, like gaming, for much longer without overheating or slowing down. A 4,900mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging will keep the lights on. In comparison, the S24 FE has a 4,700mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The wireless charging of the Galaxy S25 FE will remain at the current 15W.
As for cameras, you will find a solvent set, but it will be mostly the same as that of the S24 FE. There’s a triple rear array with 50MP (main lens), 12MP (ultrawide), and 8MP (telephoto lens, 3x optical zoom) sensors. For selfies, there will be a 12MP front-facing camera. Add in an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, Wi-Fi 6e support, and a range of colors, and the Galaxy S25 FE is shaping up to be a serious contender.
