It looks like a new contender is about to enter the tablet arena. In fact, Samsung is gearing up to release new premium models in the Galaxy Tab S11 series. However, there’s also a relatively affordable model on the way. We’re talking about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, whose key specs and renders have now been almost completely leaked.
The latest images and details of the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite come from WinFuture and Nieuwe Mobiel tech blogs. According to the leaks, the tablet will have a design inspired by its more expensive siblings in the upcoming Tab S11 series. There’s a premium metal body with a thickness of only 6.6mm and clean lines. So, while it won’t break the bank, it should definitely feel like a high-end device in your hands. It will also have IP42 rating for light protection against dust.
The slate sports a 10.9-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. and at 2,112 x 1,320 px resolution. The best part? Samsung is reportedly including the S Pen stylus right in the box. So you can get started with drawing or note-taking without any extra cost. The stylus would also boast a latency of just 26,2 ms, which should make for a smooth writing experience.
Under the hood, the Tab S10 Lite is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 processor. If you’re not aware, the latter is a 2023 chip intended for mid-range devices. The SoC is present in models such as the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A35. There’s an option for 5G connectivity if you need to stay connected on the go.
More key features
According to leaks, the tablet will be available in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. You can choose between 128GB and 256GB of expandable storage via MicroSD cards. Other features include Dolby Atmos-powered stereo speakers, an 8,000mAh battery and 25-watt charging.
One of the most impressive things is Samsung’s commitment to software support. The Tab S10 Lite is expected to ship with Android 15 and receive seven years of updates. That’s a huge deal for a budget-friendly device.
It’s clear that the Tab S10 Lite won’t have the top-of-the-line specs of a flagship. The device targets people looking for a decent balance of features, design, and long-term value. There’s no official release date yet, but Samsung could launch it during the upcoming IFA event in September for prices from €399.
