It’s time for a new #BestFriendsForever video from Google. Best friends, Pixel and iPhones, are at it again, and this time around Google is making fun of Apple Intelligence, basically, while promoting Gemini at the same time.
These videos/ads from Google are usually quite entertaining, and this one doesn’t disappoint either. The video is up on YouTube, and it is embedded below. It has a duration of around a minute.
In the video, Pixel approaches iPhone, who is stuck in a bunch of corn, while chickens are in the background. After jumping out of corn, iPhone complains that he’s having trouble teaching his chickens to sing, like Pixel did.
It turns out Pixel used Gemini to do that, which iPhone did not realize. The same happened with turtles who run an investment bank, it turns out iPhone tried to make that happen too, which is shown in this video.
Needless to say, this is a somewhat obvious jab at Apple Intelligence, which did not exactly shine following its announcement. Gemini is considered to be miles ahead, and Google is taking advantage of that.
Google took this chance to promote the Pixel 10 Pro as well
At the very end of this video, Google promotes the Pixel 10 Pro, specifically, one of its newest smartphones. As a reminder, both Google and Apple have new smartphones to offer.
Google announced its Google Pixel 10 series of smartphones last month, while Apple followed a couple of days ago with the iPhone 17 series. Both companies announced four smartphones, actually, so there’s plenty to choose from if you’re in the market for a new smartphone.
Three out of four Pixel smartphones are on sale now, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is coming in October. The entire Apple iPhone 17 series will become available to pre-order on September 12, and go on sale on September 19.
