Check out the Moto G 2026 & Moto G Play 2026 designs

When it comes to their designs, there’s really no need to talk about one at a time. Why? Well, they’re extremely similar. You’ll find both designs shown, from various angles, in the two galleries below. These are official images, by the way.

As you can see, both smartphones will include a flat display on the front and a centered display camera hole. Their bezels will not be uniform, as the bottom bezel will be noticeably thicker than the rest. That goes for both smartphones, actually.

Furthermore, the frame is mostly flat, but it curves towards both the front and back sides. You’ll notice that all physical buttons sit on the right-hand side of both phones. The power/lock button is located below the volume key, while the volume buttons are separated.

The SIM card tray can be accessed from the left side of both phones. There is even an audio jack included here, it sits at the bottom of both smartphones, right next to the Type-C USB port.

If we flip the two phones around, you’ll notice very similar designs on the back, too. Both phones will have pronounced camera islands.

Furthermore, the camera island sits higher than the backplate, but it’s covered by eco leather, just like the rest of the backplate. That will give a grippy feeling to both smartphones. Quite frankly, you won’t need to use a case, at least not for grip purposes.

The color shown here, for the Moto G 2026, is called the PANTONE Cattleya Orchid. The Moto G Play 2026 is presented in the PANTONE Tapestry color. Do note that we were also first to reveal the Moto G 2026 design back in May. You can also check out the Moto G Power 2026 design, if you want.
