Samsung Shows off Its AI Home Vision in a New SmartThings Campaign

Samsung has announced a new “SmartThings Meets AI Home” campaign ahead of IFA 2025, which is taking place from September 5 to September 9 in Berlin, Germany. With the new campaign, the South Korean technology giant is showing off how artificial intelligence is playing a key role in changing the modern home.

Samsung’s new campaign highlights its human-centered AI home experiences

Samsung has posted a video on YouTube for its new SmartThings campaign before IFA 2025. In the video, the firm is showcasing how it is using AI to create human-centered modern home experiences, which make everyday life easier. The campaign demonstrates how its SmartThings platform learns the needs of users and adapts to them to offer a personalized AI experience.

In the video, Samsung’s SmartThings Routine adjusts the temperature of the air conditioner and lighting around the home, depending on the time of day. A single tap in the SmartThings application allows smart home devices to manage household chores automatically. Before sleeping hours, the AI closes the curtains and dims the lighting around the home.

Furthermore, Samsung’s SmartThings AI automatically starts washing clothes at night without any human intervention. Additionally, Samsung’s SmartThings Pet Care service allows users to care for their pets even when they are not available.

“With this campaign, we aimed to highlight Samsung’s AI home experience redefined by AI leadership and SmartThings in a way that truly connects with customers,” said Won-Jin Lee, President and Head of Global Marketing Office at Samsung Electronics.

Samsung will showcase several AI-powered innovations this week

At the IFA 2025 trade show in Berlin, Samsung will showcase several new SmartThings-connected innovative products. Some of these include the Micro RGB TV with the latest display tech, new Bespoke AI appliances for consumers in the EU, and “new mobile devices that strengthen the Galaxy AI ecosystem.”

As for the latest SmartThings campaign, Samsung is displaying the video on outdoor screens at global landmarks such as Times Square in New York and Piccadilly Circus in London. Furthermore, the firm is promoting its AI vision for smart homes on its social media channels.
