Ulefone has decided to demo the Armor 29 Pro’s thermal imaging. To be more exact, the phone that demos this is the Ulefone Armor 29 Pro Thermal Version, the variant with thermal imaging capabilities.
The Ulefone Armor 29 Pro Thermal Version shows off its thermal imaging powers
Ulefone decided to demo this in a new YouTube video, which is embedded below. That video is rather short at 44 seconds, but it does a great job of showing off this feature.
You can see the thermals of a train here, both inside and out. The same goes for a bus, people in pitch black surroundings, and more. The phone can show you the difference in temperature, along with the exact temperature of something specific.
This phone comes with the ThermoVue T2 thermal imaging sensor, the same as its predecessor. It offers a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels, which is great for thermal imaging. It also offers a high-speed 25Hz refresh rate.
All of this is enhanced by the advanced SharpenAI Algorithm and FusionAI technology. Ulefone also decided to highlight some use cases for this tech. The company listed industrial and commercial audits, emergency response and search missions, outdoor exploration, building performance diagnostics, privacy and security, and electronics repair and analysis.
This phone also has a huge battery and two displays
The Ulefone Armor 29 Pro Thermal Version also comes with a 21,200mAh battery, so it has a huge battery pack. It supports 120W wired charging and includes a large 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display. There is also a 1.04-inch 60Hz display on the back.
This smartphone will become available to purchase on AliExpress, Amazon, and other Ulefone online platforms soon. It will go on sale at the same time as the standard version, which does not include thermal imaging tech.
We still don’t know the price tag, but the phone will arrive in mid-September, and it will have promotional pricing once it does, Ulefone confirmed as much.
