Galaxy Tab S10 Lite Is Official with Included S Pen & 7 Years of Updates

Samsung has finally made the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite official. It’s a new mid-range tablet that aims to offer a balance of features and value. Positioned as an affordable alternative to flagship models, this device aims to provide a decent option for entertainment, productivity, and creativity.

Display and Performance

The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite features a 10.9-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 2,112×1,320 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. This provides a smooth visual experience for both browsing and media consumption. The screen incorporates Samsung’s Vision Booster technology with a peak brightness of up to 600 nits. The display also includes lower blue-light emission to support extended viewing sessions.

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset. This is the same processor you can find in popular devices like the Samsung Galaxy A54. You can expect decent performance for day-to-day tasks, but without much fanfare. The device is available in two configurations: 6GB of RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. You also have the option to expand the capacity up to 2TB using a microSD card.

Creative and Productivity Features

For creative and professional use, the tablet supports the S Pen, and Samsung includes it in the box. This accessory offers fluid precision for sketching, writing, and creating. The software suite includes Intelligent Features on Samsung Notes, such as Handwriting Assist for organizing notes and Split View for efficient multitasking with two apps open simultaneously. The tablet also integrates Galaxy AI features like Circle to Search with Google, and an optional Book Cover Keyboard includes a dedicated Galaxy AI key for quick access to assistance.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite runs on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7.0. A notable feature of its software policy is a commitment to providing seven years of both OS and security updates, positioning the tablet as a long-term device.

Connectivity and Battery

An 8,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging keeps the lights on. The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is available in both Wi-Fi and 5G cellular variants. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port. The tablet also features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite will be offered in Grey, Silver, and Coral Red.

The tablet will be available starting September 5 in three colors: gray, silver, and “Coralred.” Overall, the Galaxy Tab S10 aims to provide key features from Samsung’s flagship devices, such as S Pen support and a robust software experience, at a more accessible price point.
