The Ulefone Armor 29 Ultra has just been announced. Ulefone refers to this phone as a successor to the most powerful rugged smartphone on the market, which could easily be true. The phone in question is the Armor 28 Ultra.
The Ulefone Armor 29 Ultra is another big battery beast from the company
This is yet another rugged smartphone that comes with powerful internals and has a truly gigantic battery on the inside. It comes with a 21,200mAh battery pack, and it’s fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor.
There are also two AMOLED displays here, one on the front and one on the back. That battery can be quickly recharged via 120W flash charging, which is available here as well.
The main display on the phone measures 6.67 inches, and it’s an AMOLED display with a 2400 x 1080 resolution. A 120Hz refresh rate is supported, while the Gorilla Glass 3 protects this panel. A 1.04-inch panel sits on the back and offers a 60Hz refresh rate, along with 340 x 340 resolution.
It has a 1-inch main camera sensor
Three cameras sit on the back of this phone. A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX989 sensor, 1-inch type sensor), along with a 64-megapixel Night Vision camera (f/1.79 aperture). The third camera on the back is a 50-megapixel ultrawide snapper (117.3-degree FoV).
A side-facing fingerprint scanner is included here, it’s built into the power key. The phone also includes 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. That storage is also expandable up to an additional 2TB.
The Ulefone Armor 29 Ultra is IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certified. Not only is it water and dust resistant, but it can take a hit as well. It also has a capable light on the back, which provides up to 1,000 lumens of brightness.
The Ulefone Armor 29 Ultra will become available on August 18 from AliExpress, Amazon, and the Ulefone official store. We still don’t know the price, but it will likely be announced soon.
